The MSP Learning Solutions team is looking for an experienced designer to create learning/training content for users of automated/robotics technologies during alpha and beta testing. The typical audience is Operations Associates and Maintenance Technicians, with a secondary focus on Operations Leaders. For each product the LXD supports they determine the audience critical tasks, learning objectives, and delivery method by partnering with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs).

As a Learning Experience Designer, you must be obsessed with designing and delivering highly engaging, scalable technical training programs and content for international audiences. This role requires exceptional content development and management skills, including the ability to establish and adhere to internal content standards and templates. You will leverage data-driven insights to inform content decisions and drive continuous improvement. Strong change management and program management expertise is essential, as you work to evolve our learning programs and strategy to meet the needs of the business and the learning team.

Key job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and create learning and training content for Associates, Operational Leaders, and Reliability Engineers that promotes safety and operational effectiveness

• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and share information to inform content development

• Work with product teams and technical SMEs to help design and create effective and engaging end user training

• Manage multiple content development projects simultaneously

• Develop learning materials that support self-directed, instructor led (ILT), virtual (vILT), and hands-on practical training

• Measure impact and quickly revise content/modality to address specific feedback, as needed

• Create and utilize reliable and valid learner evaluation tools to gauge knowledge and skill transfer

• Drive use of evaluation and performance data to improve learning content

• Maintain knowledge of new developments in content development, technology, learning science, learning design, and learning analytics through continuous research to ensure your solutions deliver innovation.

• Design and develop learner-centered materials and activities that align with learning outcomes, apply adult learning principles, and inform learner progress and success in online learning environments.

Basic Qualifications

· 3+ years of program or project management experience

· Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

· Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

· ADDIE instructional design, Kirkpatrick Model, or other instructional design methodologies

· Knowledge of developing scalable and maintainable version-controlled content that changes frequently.

· Expertise using eLearning development tools such as Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, and Component Content Management Systems (MadCap Flare, Xyleme).

· Experience conducting training needs assessments.

· Experience using data and metrics to drive training evaluations and improvements.

· Experience aligning learning objectives with outcomes to measure learning progress and effectiveness to track time to proficiency and business impact

· Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

· 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

· Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

· Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

· Experience supporting mechatronics, engineering, or other technology related customers

· 3+ years of program or project management experience

· 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

· 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

· Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end execution, and driving results on complex technical learning and train-the-trainer programs. This includes defining program requirements and managing the projects of medium to high scope independently, while working cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders

· Experience establishing new standards and mechanisms to improve team efficiency that improve process, increase quality, and decrease development time

· Experience assessing curriculum effectiveness to develop solutions that positively impact learner performance

· Proven track record evaluating the efficacy of training curricula and leveraging those insights to develop solutions that enhance learner performance and knowledge retention

· Experience with content re-use, conditionalization, and variables to develop maintainable content that aligns to different audience needs and requirements. Write once, publish everywhere

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience in instructional design, communication, education, or related field
