Amazon Program Manager III, Specialized Support team in Washington Dc, District Of Columbia

Description

Amazon has an immediate opening for an IT Business Program Manager III in our Amazon corporate office at (HQ2/Seattle/Vancouver). This role supports two verticals SST [Specialized Support Teams] & GSD [ Global Service Desk] organizations managing strategic initiatives for the verticals and will be responsible for delivering complex medium to large scale projects from initiation through delivery

Key job responsibilities

. Projects will range across a variety of technologies and processes, and are mostly cross-functional with global impact. You will apply best practices to your projects and programs, provide timely updates, and meet PM-related KPIs and goals. You may also recommend improvements in the way projects are scoped, tested, and deployed across the business. You will also support critical relationships with stakeholders, and negotiate roadmap with other partner teams.

You understand your customers and advocate on their behalf, communicating business objectives and priorities to team and stakeholders to deliver the best product/feature or system/process with most efficient use of resources and technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
