Amazon MSP CX Lab Technician , Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging in Vercelli, Italy

Help create the future of customer experience at Amazon! It’s an exciting time to be part of the Amazon Operations Innovation Lab team. Our team will open an Experience Center within the Operations Innovation Lab in MXP3, Vercelli, where visitors from inside and outside Amazon can experience how Amazon innovates for its employees and customers and see our technologies in action.

Our team is looking for a skilled technician to support us in taking care of our technologies in the Lab. As a Lab we are testing, validating and demonstrating the newest Robotic, Mechatronic and Packaging solutions. The team handles installation, maintenance and demonstration of these automated technologies, always ensuring the work is done according to compliance and safety regulations.

As MSP CX Lab Technician your job is to make sure our technologies are safely installed, well maintained, up to the latest standards and ready to run. When it comes to showing visitors through our just opened Experience Center, the MSP CX Lab Technician will make sure that the technologies are running perfectly to deliver a memorable experience to our internal and external visitors.

Key job responsibilities

• Role model in Health & Safety best practices

• Support installation of automated technologies, MHE and other technology products

• Monitor, troubleshoot and repair issues with technologies

• Support Lab RME and lead predictive and preventive maintenance tasks

• Manage spare parts lists and maintain stock quantities

• Update technologies and components through continuous improvement

• Assure that technologies installed in the lab are functional and available at all times

• Collaborate closely with the Lab Tour Admin to prepare and support during Lab Tours

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Vercelli, ITA

The job may require occasional travel within Europe (5%).

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training in the field of engineering (mechanics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, etc.)

• Skills in electrical and mechanical disciplines

• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings

• Demonstrated Experience with robotics cells, mechatronic systems and automation technologies

• Experience with Microsoft Office, Project Management tools

• Proficiency in Italian and English language

• Team player with high willingness to take ownership of activities and ability to work autonomously

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize different projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with document control and retaining records in and structured manner

• Experience with Data Dashboards and with setting and monitoring Metrics
