Description

Japan Consumer Innovation (JCI) is seeking a Program Manager to lead vendor negotiation programs and drive new product adoption with selling partners and internal stakeholders. This role brings together business skills, empirical data, social engagement and external technology into learning about Amazon operations, product and programs for selling partners that increase and maximizes selling partner knowledge and capabilities. It's a unique opportunity to get broad exposure to Amazon Retail leadership and partner teams worldwide. Key job responsibilities

• Launch vendor negotiation related programs with selling partners and internal stakeholders

• Partner with internal teams to drive tool and product adoption with internal stakeholders and selling partners

• Develop mechanism to track KPIs and generate weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to relevant stakeholders

• Identify gaps in program KPIs and conduct deep dive analysis to identify root cause

• Develop solution to address program KPI gaps

• Work with Legal, Finance, and internal teams to assess risks and feasibility about new program opportunity

• Partner with other functional teams across product and program orgs to identify addition selling partner needs and generate ideas on how to improve existing programs and products

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • Native Japanese speaker / JLPT N1 + English full proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
