Amazon Key is a solution for customers living in an apartment with an auto-lock to receive Amazon packages more conveniently. When we install a dedicated device in the apartments by getting a permission from building owners or property management companies, our drivers will be able to unlock the auto-lock from the delivery application whenever the driver has a package to deliver.

We are looking for a Program Manager with business development experience who can build relationships with a variety of stakeholders in an environment where the right answer is not set in stone, and who can successfully manage a business.

Key job responsibilities

  • End to End process improvement of Amazon Key life cycle by aligning respective stakeholders

  • Creating execution strategy, setting priorities and communicating progress across business partners and stakeholders

  • Translating the customer experience into a logical sequence and mapping our roadmap and program initiatives to measurable business value

  • Working with product, legal and compliance, finance, tech and stakeholder team to make prioritization/emulate good practices and conceptualize and implement program and tech interventions

  • Coordinating with team across various regions and geographies to understand, learn and implement and execute as per Japan nuances

  • Bringing creative ideas, pilot them and implement at scale to enhance customer experience

  • Conducting quick pilot projects to gather learnings, identify and implement the best scalable solution for Last Mile logistics requirements

  • Identifying process gaps and drive projects for sustained improvements, influencing, and working with technology, operations and business teams and leaders

  • Identifying cost saving opportunities and execute raising the bar on customer and partner experience

A day in the life

You will strategize, drive and execute Amazon Key initiatives, innovations, programs and features both unique to Japan to create better customer experience and drive cost benefits for last mile deliveries. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with multiple functions and teams including internal teams within Amazon Key, Field teams, Tech team, Biz Analytics, Finance team and across Japan and World-Wide geos. The ability to influence others without authority and speed to execution will be critical to success in this role.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • Business level of English

  • Intermediate level of Japanese

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
