Join us as Business Analyst (BA) to deliver analytics solutions for Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Last Mile team.

This position is an opportunity in the DSP (Delivery Service Partners) Program Management organization. This team is planning, executing and optimizing initiatives for AMZL to develop the best-in-class delivery network in JP market. The team’s success depends on our ability to create actionable insight from the data that we and our partners generate. As a Business Analyst, you will be building complex business intelligence applications using a variety of analytics tools.

Key job responsibilities

  • Identify delivery capacity risks and provide actionable insights to our stakeholders and leadership.

  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions.

  • Design and implement data-driven solutions.

  • Take ownership of critical reports and dashboards.

  • Write strategy papers to support executive decision-making.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field

  • Experience with SQL

  • Business level Japanese and English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field

  • Experience with at least one statistical programming language such as Python or R.

  • Experience working with AWS big data technologies (e.g., Redshift, S3, Glue, Kinesis and Lambda)

  • Experience of leading the development of data-driven products and applications.

  • Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture.
