Amazon Community Development Manager in Taipei, Taiwan

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Community Development Manager to build, develop & manage the Seller community, to design and nurture converting process, and to foster industry clusters, new Seller segments & new regions development. The Seller community provides the service model through internal and external support systems to assist Sellers in selling on Amazon marketplaces worldwide. This person will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on a strategy to enable broad use of Amazon Services by Sellers and exporters in Taiwan wishing to sell globally. This position presents ample opportunities for the development of innovative concepts, methodologies, and solutions in a dynamic and competitive setting.

Amazon Global Selling has been helping individuals and businesses to directly reach new customers around the globe and build global business presence. Today, more than 50% of Amazon's total sales come from third-party selection. Asia Global Selling team is responsible for recruiting local businesses across Asia countries to sell on Amazon’s overseas marketplaces, and supporting local businesses’ success and growth on the Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of business to go globally.

Key job responsibilities

  • Organize and participate in acquisition events and communication campaigns to establish, develop, and manage a robust Amazon Seller community in regional, industry clusters and new segment development.

  • Develop and implement Seller community engagement strategies to foster interaction, participation, and a sense of belonging among members, assisting Sellers in selling on Amazon marketplaces.

  • Drive the conversion and nurturing strategy, curating content that resonates with the community, including posts, discussions, and multimedia materials.

  • Identify and nurture community leaders and contributors, providing them with support and recognition.

  • Organize and host online and offline events to increase engagement and strengthen community bonds.

  • Drive the strategy of the programs, track and monitor the performance of the Seller community.

  • Stay up-to-date with digital communication trends and best practices to continuously improve the community experience.

  • Coordinate with New Seller recruitment, Marketing, Seller education, Product Management, Existing Seller management and Pubic policy teams to align community initiatives with business goals.

  • Partner with service providers, industry associations, and government-related stakeholders to fulfill the community's needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with cross-border trade selling, e-commerce, advertising, sales or business development

  • Must be data/metrics-driven.

  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly

  • Deep understanding of and passion for e-commerce

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

    • Highly analytical skills with the ability to manage the business by the numbers.
    • Effective written and oral communication in both English and Mandarin Chinese
