We are looking for an experienced product manager who can help us scale our video streaming and advertising business. The role will be responsible for building impactful user experiences and solving key customer pain points. We are looking for a person who is analytical (strong in data deep dive and insights), and has an experience in launching customer facing products. He/She will work in a highly collaborative environment with some of the best engineers and marketers, and be part of a rapidly growing initiative which is going to become a huge area of growth for Amazon's Advertising business and pioneer the usage of new technology at Amazon scale.
Key job responsibilities
Create customer-backwards product strategy through user research, customer insights/data and competitive analysis, and validate hypothesis using A/B testing
Define the end-to-end user experience and write product requirements/specifications to meet key business requirements
Work closely with technology teams to implement and launch high quality products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing/operations/content) to drive adoption of the products
Define the key metrics for success, and work with analytics teams in setting up reports/dashboard to measure progress, while contributing to the overall viewership/revenue metrics
Manage and own the long-term roadmap for the product, and get involved in sprint planning, maintaining the backlog and take key prioritization decision
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of product management experience or program management experience working with technology teams to launch products
Superior analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to acquire/interpret data and make business recommendations
Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field in a Tier I college/university
English reading/writing proficiency
Be abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the internet tech industry
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in building and scaling new products from scratch
Experience with A/B testing and experimentation
Experience working in an OTT or video streaming/player business, especially on the advertising and monetization area
