Amazon is looking for a talented, customer-obsessed Business Analyst to be based in Singapore to help shape the future of our Data Centres. This team focuses on driving operational excellence and optimization for our data centre planners/infra program managers, procurement team, supply solutions team, energy and water team, and also our construction, commissioning and controls teams. The role offers an opportunity to support stakeholders in driving business process improvement and automation projects which includes optimizing reporting metrics and building dashboards.

Key job responsibilities

• Translate basic business problem statements into analysis requirements

• Write queries and output efficiently

• Convert data to make it analysis- ready through basic descriptives, aggregations, and pivots

• Implement/deploy data visualization or communication tools (e.g., metrics dashboards, decks, flashes)

• Communicate analysis and work with business stakeholders to understand its value

Basic Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of using SQL and Tableau

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Pivots, Power Pivots, Macros etc.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated to work proactively on tasks Data driven and comfortable to work on data analyst tasks

  • Great team player

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidates from a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math background

  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
