Amazon Executive Assistant, Hardware in Shenzhen, China

Description

We're seeking for an experienced Executive Assistant with a demonstrated history of high performance to support our Hardware Engineering team. This exciting role offers an integral opportunity to contribute to cultivating relationships with worldwide internal and external customers.

This role will be responsible for a high volume of tasks including complex calendar management and scheduling, effectively prioritizing amidst a flood of information and requests ensuring appropriate level of urgency is given, manage travel and expenses and administrative support functions.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced EA, detail oriented, organized planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility. The ability to have fun and maintain a positive attitude despite the pressures of a fast-paced environment, is essential. The candidate will possess the ability to complete high volumes of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision and deadline sensitivity. As such, the candidate must be skilled at anticipating problems, creating contingency plans, managing multiple priorities, problem solving and organizing logistics. This position is both highly autonomous within the International Technology team and equally closely partnered with other Executive Assistants and Administrative Assistants throughout the retail organization.

In this role you will:

  • Complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance, have impeccable attention to detail, make smart and timely decisions, and react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround

  • Utilize your exceptional verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice

  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information

  • Utilize your professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Shenzhen, 44, CHN

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required

  • 3+ years of experience supporting senior management

  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • High degree of professionalism in dealing with senior professionals

  • React with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround. Ability to switch gears at a moment's notice

  • Ability to protect confidential and proprietary information using utmost discretion

  • Positive, proactive and able to always exercise great judgment

  • Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects, with little to no guidance, in a highly ambiguous and fast paced environment
