Amazon Global Selling: The Marketplace or “Selling on Amazon” business exists in 17 countries and exceeds 50% of total Amazon unit sales and growing. Each year, tens of thousands of businesses join the marketplace adding millions of new products. Our vision is to offer customers Earth’s largest selection. China Global Selling aims to deliver on this vision by identifying massive China Sellers, bring their product selection to Amazon’s global marketplaces.

The role we’re hiring is Senior PM for New Region development, including current new regions and future new regions to be expanded, which are identified as CN Global Selling next growth engine. The senior PM manager will partner with New Region business leaders, and collaborate with internal cross function teams to identify new opportunities, develop and implement strategy, drive new initiatives through design, launch and management to achieve New Region business growth.

The candidate will need to possess excellent communications skills, and be good at project planning and management. She/he will be extremely customer obsessed, with excellent business acumen, thus be able to drive initiatives accelerating seller recruitment, seller success and ecosystem built-up in new regions. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a cross functional, fast-paced environment; has strong program management skills, communication skills, and innovative. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new region business opportunity, contribute to new region strategic planning/action plans/goal settings, and regular business reviews;

  • Develop and lead key internal-facing and external seller-facing initiatives to support new region business growth incl. driving regional seller recruitment and seller success, developing local industry zone and building up local ecosystem; Develop a systematic and scalable approach to achieve these;

  • Prioritize and implement Global and CN global selling programs in new regions, and share learnings to reapply practice to more regions;

  • Lead regular and ad-hoc business deep dive and analysis to generate strategic insights and support management decision;

-Establish strong relationship and trust with internal stakeholders and external partners and get resources needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
