Job Type: Full-time (40 hrs weekly) and Part-time (20 hrs weekly) available

Contract Type: Permanent and Fixed Term Contracts available

Pay Rate: £13.00/hr

Location: Sevenoaks, Kent

Shift Requirement:

  • Full-time: Availability between 5:00am and 11:00pm required Monday-Sunday

  • Part-time: Availability between 5:00am and 11:00pm required Saturday and Sunday plus two weekdays

Job Responsibilities

As a Retail Associate you will represent Amazon Fresh by fostering a vibrant store culture focused on customers, trust, integrity, and continuous learning. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, and requires attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks. You'll be part of a dedicated team that maintains punctual attendance, safety, and quality standards, whilst identifying opportunities for improvement. Our team goes above and beyond to delight our customers.

  • Customer engagement: Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with questions, supporting the checkout and payment process, and putting them first in all interactions

  • Product knowledge: Stay updated on products, processes and promotions to effectively assist customers and help them to locate items within the store

  • Floor management: Maintain store appearance and cleanliness, rotate and replenish stock, organize shelves, and unpack deliveries

  • Fresh food preparation: Work in the food preparation area to prep, package, and label food products of varying temperatures, maintain a well-stocked bakery and adhere to freshness and kitchen hygiene standards

  • Store standards: Collaborate with store leaders to maintain the physical safety and high-quality standards, and effectively communicate safety concerns

Basic Qualifications

  • General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) or equivalent
