The ABPL Marketing team is looking for a talented, self-directed marketing leader to efficiently scale and support global demand generation email and push notification programs for the lending team worldwide. The Email and Marketing Ops Manager is an important role on the team and will own both manual and automated outbound communications (email, plus push notifications) to drive program acquisition and adoption of financing products from our third-party lenders (banks and FinTechs), manage on-going roadmap with partner marketing managers on the team across the globe, and work with brand and creative stakeholders.

This Email and Marketing Ops Manager will launch experiments to find opportunities to automate new programs, measure customer engagement of outbound communications, improve channel health, while contributing to program adoption and repeat engagement with financing products from our third-party lenders. For marketing ops, this candidate will own the marketing roadmap management working with other marketers on the team and assesses new opportunities to drive program adoption. The ideal candidate for this role is organized, analytical, detailed oriented, and data driven, with experience delivering high-performing marketing programs. This is a highly visible role and this marketer will have opportunities to regularly present program plans, results, and insights to senior leadership teams.

This role is based in Seattle and part of the global lending marketing team. Some international travel may be required to meet with stakeholders or attend events.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage the outbound communications channels (email and push notifications) for the lending team WW, including manual and automated programs, from planning, execution, and reporting.

• Build robust test and learn plans for email and push to drive new customer adoption and engagement; assesses opportunities in other channels.

• Owns execution of the GTM marketing plans and reviews on-going marketing roadmap, in collaboration with marketers.

• Analyze performance of marketing channels and campaigns across the market, customer segment and lifecycle stages, seeking ways to improve performance and deliver insights to key stakeholders.

• Support daily or ad-hoc reporting for manual campaigns or experiments

• Share weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance with partner marketing managers on lending team.

• Responsible to review customer engagement (opens, clicks, click-to-open) and channel-health metrics (opt-outs).

• Incorporate targeting strategy into campaign execution, partnering with product marketers

• Consult and partner with market- and UX-research for user insights to impact marketing programs and collaborate with internal teams across businesses to deliver results.

• Collaborate with global marketing and PR teams to bring lending into customer messaging and media strategies.

• Present complex information in a clear and concise manner to leadership both verbally and in writing.

About the team

The Amazon B2B Payments & Lending Marketing team focuses on generating awareness, driving adoption, and encouraging usage of payment, invoicing, and financing products, and also supports the education of customers on product/features usage in conjunction with other relevant B2B features and tools that improve their user experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

  • Experience in audience segmentation and targeting

  • Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

  • Experience in building email campaigns, both manual and automated using marketing tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management

  • Knowledge in working with SQL

  • Language proficiency in English and in one or multiple of these languages: Spanish, French, Chinese.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
