Amazon Sr. Field Certification Lead, WWFE in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Field Enablement (WWFE) team is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced Senior Enablement Certification Manager to drive the adoption and usage of AWS cloud computing platform. We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Enablement Team as a Sr. Certification Manager. In this role, you will work closely with sales and technical subject matter experts to actively develop enablement certification criteria. Successful candidates will have experience developing and managing Global Certification Programs.

Key job responsibilities

-Define and Develop Certification Program and Strategy

-Source and Manage Certification Vendor for distribution of assessment and badging

-Develop Roadmap of Certification exams

-Owns the Enablement Framework and builds on the accreditation program currently defined by WWFE.

-Develop Program and Community around AWS Certification

-Work with Marketing to brand Certification program in the marketplace

-Work closely with Training & Certification team to scale the accreditation program.

-Build and manage Certification Dashboards and Metrics for executive team

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, sales operations, enablement, or other sales support function.

  • 7 + years of experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years Managing Certification Programs

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership

  • Experience Managing an Certification P&L

  • Experience Defining and Implementing Certification Vendors and Systems

  • Education Curriculum Management Experience

  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $143,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $237,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
