Amazon Senior UX Designer, Amazon Business in Seattle, Washington

Description

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to help us build products and services that enable the integration of Amazon Business offerings, at scale. You will work with product, engineering, and executive leaders across an international organization, shaping the end-to-end e-procurement experience for some of Amazon Business' largest customers. You will be responsible for creating, defining, and envisioning innovative and bar raising solutions for more than 8 million global business customers who rely on Amazon Business to manage their procurement processes. And you will join an accomplished group of UX professionals who employ a human-centered design process that balances data, user insights, problem solving, UX and visual design, and accessibility.

Key job responsibilities

  • Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings

  • Champion customer insights and design best practices while collaborating with your partners in product and engineering, as well as business stakeholders and executive leadership

  • Iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual designs

  • Incorporate customer feedback, technical constraints, data insights, and usability findings into design solutions while balancing customer needs with technical feasibility and business objectives

  • Develop and maintain detailed information architecture and design specifications

  • Utilize and adhere to branding guidelines and design standardization across all of the team's products

  • Present design solutions to executive and UX team leadership during creative reviews, Walk-the-Store sessions, and Launch Reviews

  • Perform metrics analysis post-launch to inform design/UX optimization efforts

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of design experience

  • Experience with UX design of complex workflows

  • Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of usability principles and techniques

  • Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature

  • Demonstrated expertise in Service Design, especially as it applies to cross platform workflows with multiple user roles

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
