The Technical Program Manager role in Prime Video's payments team requires excellent leadership and delivery skills, strategic thinking, strong technical expertise, with great stakeholder management skills to partner effectively across teams within and outside of Amazon.

Key job responsibilities

As part of the Prime Video Commerce Organisation, the Payments team is looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead the team's vision of allowing Prime Video customers to seamlessly purchase, rent or subscribe to our products in one second or less with zero faults, having the uttermost confidence in the reliability of our systems and with the payment method of customer’s choice.

You will establish your priorities, work independently, and successfully execute multiple projects for Prime Video worldwide owning the project timelines and maintaining accountability on deliverables.

In addition to this, you will frequently engage business, product and technology leaders and be a strong advocate for our customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 3+ years of software development experience

  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design

  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
