Amazon Senior Program Manager in Seattle, Washington

Description

We are looking for a high caliber, experienced, and motivated Program Manager to support a new project with strategic significance and high exposure.

In this role, you are required to drive hands-on analysis, resolving escalations, identifying and driving improvement projects to improve customer experience. You'll also have an impact on product planning and driving new feature launches based on customer and stakeholder input, which will involve working across multiple cross-functional teams. The successful candidate is analytical in their decision making, with the demonstrated ability to drive issues to completion.

Key job responsibilities

  • Advocate for ideal customer experience and identify and drive data-driven improvement projects

  • Drive new feature launches and increase existing feature adoption by becoming the liaison and glue for the cross-functional teams

  • Identify and formalize metrics to track through weekly business reviews

  • Engage with both internal and external partners to identify product enhancements

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Seattle, WA, USA

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
