Amazon Senior Product Manager, Fire TV in Seattle, Washington

The Fire TV Demand Generation team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own demand generation and category management for our new lineup of first party Smart TVs in CA and MX. You will be the business owner for a suite of highly strategic Fire TV sales programs; work with a cross-functional team including marketing, product development, demand planning, offline retail, finance, and merchandising to develop and execute a multi-year strategy to continue growing the Fire TV business globally. This is a high visibility role with frequent opportunities to interact with and present to leadership. In this role, you will have an opportunity to help customers discover our new TVs, develop channel-specific sales strategies, and test/implement new demand generation levers that deliver TV sales and enhance customer engagement and satisfaction. We are seeking someone who is creative, highly analytical, customer-obsessed, and excels at earning trust with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving product sales in innovative categories, take ownership of the business, and be comfortable driving a mix of both strategy and execution.

Key job responsibilities

The Senior Product Manager, Fire TV role will be responsible for establishing the sales plan, demand generation strategies, and then overseeing all the category inputs required to hit/exceed the plan for CA/MX regions. They lead a broad and cross-functional set of stakeholders across Amazon Devices.

A day in the life

  • Demand Generation: Developing sales and marketing programs to accelerate customer adoption of Amazon’s Smart TVs.

  • Pricing and Promotions: Owning the pricing strategy and annual promotional calendar.

  • Business Planning: Building annual and long-range sales plans in collaboration with demand planning and finance.

  • Business Reviews / Category Performance: Owning the WBRs/Annual Sales Plans.

  • Inventory and Supply: Working closely with Business Planning to oversee forecasting and product build recommendations.

  • Channel Distribution: Driving strategies for Amazon.com & traditional offline retail.

  • Marketing: Working with channel owners to drive onsite merchandising, detail page conversion rates, cross shopping strategies, etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
