Amazon Senior Product Manager, Amazon in Seattle, Washington

Are you a customer obsessed Product Manager? Are you passionate about meeting the needs of a diverse set of customers? Are you interested in designing solutions specifically for professional customers? We are seeking a Senior Product Manager that will work backwards to help us understand and unlock opportunities among consumer and B2B customers.

As a Sr. Product Manager on the Business, Industrial, and Scientific Supplies (BISS) team, you are responsible for managing the lifecycle of products, features, and along with execution and operations which all have considerable impact on our customers and their shopping experience. You will define the problem or opportunity and develop the desired customer experience. You will partner with central catalog teams, tech teams, and Amazon Business to drive business results and CX.

Key job responsibilities

Work backwards from key customer groups (e.g. consumers, professionals, businesses) to create a more seamless shopping experience including core operations (e.g. data quality) and experimentation (e.g. AI opportunities)

Work closely with partner tech teams to design, influence, and implement product solutions to improve the customer shopping experience

Build partnerships with other teams to uncover solutions already designed and built and rapidly scale

Key contributor to operational plans and long-range plans within our business team, develop individual priorities and personal product roadmap, and influence partner teams including Amazon Business, Tech Teams, and other business units.

Passionately advocate for the customer and develop clear analysis and business rationale into product development and communication strategies

Influence without direct authority across various tech, marketing and business teams

Ability to manage multiple projects and partner relationships, including prioritization, planning and delivery.

Strong bias for action with an ability to operate in an ambiguous environment

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
