AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Become a strategic partner to our top-tier AWS Marketplace Channel Partners. In this role, you will work closely with our highest-potential AWS Marketplace Channel Partners to co-create ambitious goals, develop strategic plans, and drive measurable business impact. You will be the bridge between our Channel Partners and internal AWS teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment on key initiatives. Key job responsibilities

Establish a regular cadence with a small book of top-producing AWS Marketplace Channel Partners to understand their business goals and co-create strategic plans

Track and report on year-over-year production and growth metrics for your partner book

Advocate for and secure additional funding, program support, and resources to accelerate the success of your Channel Partners

Work closely with partner stakeholders to ensure alignment on operations, sales, and training initiatives

Collaborate cross-functionally with AWS teams to build a cohesive "one-team" approach to partner support and align on key strategic priorities

Graduate high-potential Channel Partners to the next level of account management support

About the team

The AMER AWSMP Consulting team is responsible for scaling the discovery, development, and delivery of high-quality capabilities for AWS customers through our extensive network of AWS Marketplace Channel Partners. Our vision is to be the best place to build cloud-enabled businesses, connecting companies together to build the most diverse cloud community on Earth. As the AMER AWSMP Consulting PDM, you will play a critical role in driving the success and growth of our top-tier Channel Partners, ensuring they have the strategic support and resources needed to thrive in the AWS ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
