Amazon is expanding rapidly across in Brazil, and payments is core to providing the best experience for customers to shop on Amazon. If you have a passion for building a team, and communicating product propositions to customers, particularly those new to online shopping, then this is the exciting role for you.

The role of the Sr. Marketing Manager for Payments will build and own the growth and expansion strategy for Payments Portfolio Brazil. This role will develop customer insights, and then identify, build, launch and manage marketing campaigns to acquire and engage customers. This role will also manage marketing managers for distinct products within payments. The marketing program development includes customer behavioral analysis, customer research, retention program management, personalized content development, targeting segment strategy, marketing channel management (e.g., email, push, paid advertisement), and creative development. This position will guide and unblock team members as they work closely with Product Management, UX, Business Development, PR and Engineering teams, as well as partner with local stakeholder teams to deliver experiences resonating with customers. This role requires the ability to navigate a complex organization, and guide team members to think big, dive deep with technical teams, and work across partners throughout the larger Payments organization as well as externally. You must be an influential leader with a passion for customer experiences, and bring analytical rigor to the team. It is critical that you cultivate a culture to work backward from the customer, and deeply understand customer needs to develop the marketing strategy.

A successful candidate will be a strong, innovative thinker with a proven record of building data-driven strategies, creating and implementing go-to-market plans, and influencing cross-functional leadership. You are highly analytical and detail-oriented, think outside of the box, challenge the status quo, and are comfortable leading a team in a dynamic environment. You must be able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. You will be at the center of the customer experience and let your team members dive deep into the customers’ responses and incremental business impact. You will anticipate and remove bottlenecks, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus constraints. People trust and respect you, and they like to work with you.

Key job responsibilities

· Partner with key local and global stakeholders to work on ongoing and upcoming initiatives;

· Develop and prioritize marketing campaigns that efficiently meets need of various businesses in BT;

· Work closely with multiple marketing teams and own the payments marketing roadmap;

· Manage prioritization and trade-offs to ensure the right initiatives are built with the right quality at the right time;

· Address barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Passion for technology and an entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Experience in product marketing across channels, including, but not limited to, Out of Home and Digital media (paid and organic)

  • Demonstrated success in marketing communications, strategic segmentation, marketing management and developing marketing content

  • Experienced and empathetic people manager

  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to execute high quality deliverables.

  • Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget and deliver on time.

  • Oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or relevant field of study.

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in product marketing channels, including Amazon Channels and mass media

  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience in payments

  • Experience in marketing in Brazil or other Latin America countries

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree for this position.
