We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager-Technical to join our IMDb team in Santa Monica, CA. This role is responsible for delivering the strategy and long-term vision for the foundational systems and products that drive membership growth. This position will drive our payment roadmap, identifying and launching product and payment solutions that make it easier for our customer to become IMDbPro members - globally. This role will also partner closely with our product marketing and sales team to develop innovative solutions to promote our business and drive overall subscription growth.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define the strategic vision, own the product roadmap, and align company-wide dependencies across multiple product and tech teams (Amazon and IMDb).

  • Understand and represent the reasons behind architecture decisions of product or features, and consistently bring data-driven business and technical judgement to decisions.

  • Influence external team roadmaps, collaborating with them regarding approach and prioritization.

  • Own and understand key subscription metrics, driving data-driven experimentation and improvements.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience technical product management

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

  • Experience with digital subscriptions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
