The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. WWSO GenAI/ML GTM Cross portfolio team is part of the Worldwide Specialist Team, where you will be responsible for defining, building, and deploying effective and targeted programs to accelerate broad based sales and business development activities for the AWS AI/ML services. As a GenAI Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA), you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designing GenAI solutions that leverage AWS services. You will closely collaborate with other Specialist SAs and go-to-market specialists to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption of AWS for GenAI platforms. You will interact with other field teams, providing guidance on their customer engagements, and you will develop white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations to empower customers and partners to fully leverage GenAI on AWS. Additionally, you will create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, helping them understand how to integrate AWS GenAI solutions into customer architectures. You possess profound technical experience working with technologies related to Large Language Models (LLMs), from model fine-tuning and prompt engineering to multimodal and image generation. A strong background in developing machine learning is preferred, in addition to experience in building applications and architectural design. You will be familiar with AWS GenAI-related services and features, including but not limited to Database, Analytics, SageMaker, Bedrock, Amazon Q, as well as the ecosystem of software vendors in the AI/ML space, and will leverage this knowledge to assist AWS customers in their selection process.

Key job responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.

• Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.

• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.

• Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.

• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

  • 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

  • 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

  • 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries

  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud

  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
