Position Title: Program Manager II

Location: Santa Clara, California

Position Responsibilities:

1.) Develop and implement an Existing Operations Buildings Sustainability Program in North America with the aim of decarbonizing our buildings. 2.) To develop the program, work cross functionally with a broad range of stakeholders across Amazon’s Existing Buildings portfolio; design building specific implementation strategies for energy, carbon, water, materials and waste from concept through operations and ongoing performance management; and manage a broad range of stakeholder interests and support related to internal communications and change management initiatives. 3.) To Implement the program, work with the diverse stakeholders to develop cost proposals, obtain finance approval, schedule, and oversee construction and installations of the initiatives that will reduce, monitor, and optimize our building’s carbon footprint; prepare written analysis of findings and recommendations for various building-related sustainability solutions, and manage key external relationships and partnerships; and manage multiple projects that roll-up into a single program, linking datasets and progress. 4.) Communicate and present sustainability business cases to key leaders and develop tools to surface, analyze and report building data necessary for centralized reporting at a corporate level to support decision-making and performance management against our goals. 5.) 40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $151,694/year to $229,700/year

Basic Qualifications

Position Requirements:

A Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Project Management, Urban Planning, Architecture, Environmental Sustainability, Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline and 2 years of experience in sustainability, strategic initiatives, or project management. In the alternative, a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Project Management, Urban Planning, Architecture, Environmental Sustainability, Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline, followed by 5 progressively responsible years of experience in sustainability, strategic initiatives, or project management. Experience must include: 1. 2 years of experience in sustainability strategy and goal development, and sustainability project implementation 2. 2 years of experience in expansion planning, project management, and communicating to senior management 3. 2 years of experience in green building rating systems, green buildings, green energy and solar projects and smart sensor/green technologies 4. 2 years of experience in project management, including managing, planning, organizing, scheduling and tracking of projects from initiation, planning, execution and delivery 5. 2 years of experience performing data mining and statistical data analysis utilizing SQL, Excel Advanced Modeling, VBA or related business intelligence tools; and 6. 2 years of experience in green transportation, electric vehicle infrastructure and logistics 7. Building professional accreditation like LEED AP, WELL AP, etc.#0000
