Key job responsibilities

Area Manager I is supposed to guide & lead the IB team. He/ She should be good in Deep Dive and a self initiator. He/ she is supposed to raise the bar in Are Right A Lot & Deliver Results. Deliver in Safety , Quality & Cost metrics.

  • Ensure a safe work environment for all associates

  • Review the work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.

  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives

  • Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor, ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all production goals

  • Embrace a start-up mentality and emphasize “have fun”.

  • As an Area Manager, you’ll have multi-shift responsibilities, providing leadership to several assistant managers, and managing external vendor relationships and performance.

A day in the life

Internal Stakeholders - FCD, Outbound, ICQA, LnD & HR Team.

Customers - Middle Mile & Last Mile for any customer related escalations, Central Agencies like ACES, PE.

This position is expected to have good stakeholder management with the agencies mentioned above, working towards the shared goal of uplifting Customer Experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of employee and performance management experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience

  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

  • Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
