Amazon Snr. Program Mgr. Reverse Logistics, EU Vendor Returns in Prague, Czech Republic

Senior PM manages KPIs and leads initiatives with EU wide impact in reverse flow space.

You’ll be taking the lead on the design and launch of new programs for our customers experience and also Amazon cost. You’ll also oversee programs that are already running, own affiliated KPIs and find ways to improve them. The role will be based in Prague and will include at travelling within EU on per need basis.

Key job responsibilities

Snr. PM in EU Vendor Returns will independently navigate in complex environment where operations, tech and customer experience meet. Main goal of Snr. PM is to deliver higher partner (customer) experience whilst doing so at lower cost with larger scale (often EU wide).

Snr. PM will leverage experience of leading larger initiatives, strong analytical skills and data processing tools mastery (MS Excel as expected competence, Quick sight , SQL on basic level preferred) to identify opportunities within returns operations. Resulting in leadership of projects across operations, business and tech teams including tracking of results delivered. Snr. PM is individual contributor working in wide matrix structure (10+ separate teams) and with 80+ FCs across EU. In this role you will lead initiatives with mentioned audience as pivotal owner and drive results through director level documents and metrics.

A day in the life

Snr. PM is consuming array of metrics connected to his agenda and field of expertise to centrally ensure smooth production of vendor/seller returns.

On weekly, monthly and quarterly basis Snr. PM will be responsible for drafting reporting documents (W/M/Q BR) with proposed action when defects occur.

Project wise, Snr. PM works independently as leader of EU wide improvements for reverse flow (productivity improvement vs yearly plan, inventory defect reduction /dwelling, Operations pack process defects or backend improvement / shipment size increase). Cooperates with tech development, process engineers and other stakeholders. Creates routine and ETAs rather than daily task.

About the team

ReLo (Reverse Logistics) is a team that owns process and operations of customer returns, vendor returns and warehouse deals streams. Customer returns focuses on items returned by end customer and downstream processes, warehouse deals (AW) is a recovery focused sub stream of customer returns and focuses on non-technical and technical grading/testing of returned items. Vendor returns focuses on Amazon partners/vendors as our internal customers and their experience coupled with internal process efficiency.

As a member of the EU Reverse Logistics Operations (ReLo) Vendor Returns team, the Snr. PM will own agenda within seller/vendor owned inventory and its disposition.

Prague, CZE

Basic Qualifications

  • A Master degree/ or relevant experience for bachelor degree or internal candidates

  • Relevant experience leading cross-functional programs or projects using project-management methodologies and at country level + scale (even for small section of business)

  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions

  • Relevant experience leading complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders and higher management including document writing

  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional environment

  • Advanced level of English (C1)

  • Masters degree

  • Experience driving larger scale initiatives regardless of actual initiative size (small change for whole EU is relevant experience)

  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean and experience from retail/warehousing operations

  • Experience working in ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders

  • Proficient level of business English (C2)
