Amazon Sr Supply Chain Manager, SSD Grocery in New York City, New York

Description

The candidate will be working as a member of the Grocery Sub-Same Day (SSD) delivery team as we work to provide faster than same day delivery across North America. We are looking for a Sr. Supply Chain Manager with proven experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional projects and programs within our Sub Same Day Delivery offering.

As a Sr. Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for On The Road delivery quality metrics and its performance for Grocery Delivery businesses. The Sr Supply Chain Manager will support delivery functions for launch of new Grocery delivery operations in SSD buildings, scaling delivery quality reporting strategy, improve and roll out new processes to reduce concessions and improve delivery quality.

This position will be open to Bellevue, WA (Greater Seattle Area, Washington), New York City, NY and Nashville, TN for location options.

Key job responsibilities

Coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders worldwide to proactively identify, optimize, track and report performance.

Developing and utilizing data inputs and KPI’s to inform operational adjustments.

Define and create processes that will scale to meet growing business demands.

Partnering with Directors, Senior Managers, and other key operational and technical leaders across the organization.

Own a portfolio of cross-functional programs related to Imperfect Order Rate, driving performance improvement and efficiency in Delivery Quality

Define metrics, develop goals, and invent/simplify processes to drive decision making and business performance

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 5+ years of supply chain experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
