As a Sr. Workplace Strategist, you will play a critical role in strategically collaborating with the Stores org, focusing on key responsibilities to determine the best space outcomes.

Key job responsibilities

•Partner with Occupancy Planning Teams in macro-organization-specific space allocations

• Lead occupancy planning for space strategy development

• Engage Stores leaders to detail space needs and requirements, and develop a workplace strategy for Stores' allocated spaces

• Collaborate with Stores leaders, HR, GREF, and other leaders to validate both headcount data and forecasted space demand.

• Refine space requirements and align real estate strategies with overall business objectives.

• Lead the development of space strategy implementation communications for Stores leaders.

• Contribute to the development of business cases as a space subject matter expert.

• Support GREF's defect resolution processes for Stores and own the issue escalation process, as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • 5+ years of experience working in space planning, occupancy planning, program management, customer experience, or real estate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, operations, facilities management, real estate, or a related field.

  • Proven knowledge of Workplace, Real Estate, Space Management and / or Facilities Management (preferred)

  • In-depth knowledge of space planning and design principles.

  • Ability to analyze occupancy data, forecast space needs, and optimize space allocation.

  • Knowledge of sustainability, DEI and health and wellbeing workplace practices in relation to workplace and real estate (preferred).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of driving innovation in program processes and solutions.

  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems, with the ability to analyze data and present insights.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
