Amazon Sr. Learning & Talent Program Manager in Nashville, Tennessee

Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) Learning Solutions team is looking for a Program Manager, Learning and Talent Development to join our team. The post holder will work closely with various leaders across the OTS organization, business managers, PXT, L&D specialists, other members of the L&D department to build, execute, and manage multiple learning and talent management initiatives for OTS.

This role is essential to establish and execute Learning & Development standards across the organization. This will involve creating and curating learning content and processes that deliver a positive learning experience, knowledge and skills transfer, and business impact, from Day 1 throughout the careers of our leaders and associates. This will require the creation of processes that deliver at scale, and can measure the effectiveness of the learning journey from end-to-end. This role will require end-to-end project management and collaboration across a diverse, cross-functional group of internal and external stakeholders for the Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitor & Control, and Closeout stages of the project life cycle.

Key job responsibilities

Key job responsibilities:

• Be accountable for the vision, strategy, and delivery of learning programs and talent initiatives. Own and drive strategies learning strategies aligned to business and talent organizational objectives, with the goal of elevating technical talent within the OTS organization

• Partner with cross-functional knowledge and partnerships to identify issues, trends, and perspectives that may influence our long-term technical training strategies and learning requirements

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) within OTS to understand and anticipate their learning and talent development needs and deliver on those needs

• Oversee the content mapping and learning content and partner with content creators, editors, stakeholders, subject matter experts, video production, designers, and developers to build extraordinary learning experiences

• Lead and manage improvements in employee learning experiences through iterative learning, feedback, and analytics/measurement

• Monitor, analyze, and report on program key results to support program objectives and ensure initiatives are driving the intended learning and talent development outcomes

• Lead an experienced learning and development team

• This role will include travel (15%-20%).

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • 7+ years of experience of working as Organization and Talent Development Manager, Learning Program Manager and/or other related position

  • 7+ years of experience designing and implementing employee learning and talent development programs

  • Significant experience with effective learning and development methods

  • Practical experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and platforms

  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong experience leading teams as a people manager

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or MBA

  • • 3+ years relevant experience in Human Resources

  • • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills٫ with a good ability to build relations with employees, stakeholders, business leaders, and vendors

  • Demonstrate clear written communication skills

  • Possess analytical ability
