Description

As a Customer Optimization and Acceleration Specialist II, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial success for AWS customers by creating and delivering executive-level content, serving as a subject matter expert in cost and commercial aspects throughout the customer life-cycle, and empowering clients with tools for effective cloud and IT spend management. Additionally, you'll lead the way in assessing reporting needs, establishing KPIs, and managing multiple strategic requests to ensure continuous progress and success in customer transformation and optimization initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

• Act as a financial advisor and collaborate with AWS account team, to build and deliver executive content (such as financial business case, Return on Investment and Total Cost of Ownership Analysis, cost optimization strategies)

• Become the subject matter expert in all cost and commercial related aspects of the customer life-cycle

• Educate and enable customers with tools to successfully manage cloud and IT spend

• Assessing reporting and analytic needs of customers and identifying solution and approach to meet those needs.

• Communicate, establish, and measure KPIs to track progress and success of transformation and optimization within customer organizations

• Manage numerous requests concurrently & strategically

• Understand and communicate billing, forecasting, and budgeting best practices

Basic Qualifications

  • Bilingual - Spanish and English.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as account management, business development, or customer success

  • Proficient in the use of AWS services and tools, as well as other cloud financial management and IT spend optimization tools

  • Proven track record of driving financial success for customers through cloud optimization initiatives

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading and managing multiple strategic projects and initiatives simultaneously

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, establish KPIs, and provide data-driven recommendations
