Job Information

Amazon Sr. Product Manager, WW HPB GlobalX, Amazon Private Brands in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Description

At Amazon, we're working to create the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven leaders to help us deliver a great customer experience. We are looking for customer-obsessed, solutions-geared Sr. Product Manager to join our Amazon Private Brands (APB) GlobalX team to enable the presence of our flagship brand, Amazon Essentials across all Amazon Stores globally.

You will own developing and executing a roadmap to ensure all new products are launched globally from Day 1, and be responsible for business performance and goals in our emerging countries. You will influence in absence of authority by earning trust and developing cross-functional roadmaps in partnership with multiple teams, including Product Safety & Compliance, Product Development, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Technology, and Retail Category POCs across multiple geographies. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. You will think globally, anticipate bottlenecks and make trade-offs, and balance speed and high-standards.

A successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of:

  • Customer obsessed: Ensure our brands and their value remain clear to customers as we enter new regions, invent and enable scalable processes that maintain our standards while reducing efforts across internal customers and partner teams.

  • Earning trust and influencing: Influence stakeholders to prioritize our needs in a world of competing priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication: Be able to influence and communicate clearly and persuasively across different audiences and levels in the organization.

  • Demonstrating sound judgment backed by data: Look across different perspectives and business needs, provide recommendations, and drive consensus. Make data-driven decisions and trade-offs to move forward.

  • Program/project management: Build plans with clear objectives, milestones, stakeholders, and metrics. Create centrally-accessible resources and project plans for all stakeholder groups to access to drive clarity across the organization.

  • Bias for action and navigating ambiguity: The “right” path is not always clear, and the ideal solution may be farther in the future than the business allows. Do not be afraid to bridge known gaps if necessary.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define and enable our global expansion roadmap to launch Amazon Essentials in all regions with an Amazon Stores presence.

  • Invent and refine brand and ASIN launch processes, and partner with teams to offshore execution while simultaneously influencing technology roadmaps to build automated tools.

  • Work in partnership with WW SPB and CPB to standardize the playbook for business management across regions.

  • Own business KPIs in new launch countries, and develop strong connections with Retail POCs in these regions to optimize performance.

  • Partner effectively with your peer-set across APB, including Product Safety & Compliance, Product Development, Design, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Technology, and Marketing to influence priorities and drive alignment.

  • Obsess over your metrics of success (e.g., selection parity, top and bottom-line performance) and launch mechanisms to track, intervene, and stay on course.
