EU 3P Expansion is looking for a talented and highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join our team in Luxembourg and be part of our mission to improve the Consumer and Selling Partner experience across our emerging Amazon stores in EU. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a Day-1 organization, and provides a dynamic, innovative and fast-paced environment to constantly build your skillset and address new challenges.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will drive a series of projects and initiatives for our youngest stores in EU. Your contributions will help our vision to build a bar-raising delivery experience setup for our selling partners – improving the key areas such as delivery speed, convenience and compliance.

Location:

The position is based in Amazon’s EU Headquarters in the city of Luxembourg. The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a diverse and multicultural country located in the heart of Europe, bordered by France, Belgium and Germany.

Key job responsibilities

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Partner with EU/WW stakeholder teams to define optimal Fulfilment strategy to ensure long term benefits for Amazon, Selling Partners and our Customers in Sweden, Poland, Belgium, and the Netherlands .

  • Drive initiatives to provide best in class MFN Delivery Experience for Domestic and Out-Of-Country Selling Partners.

  • Improve Selling Partner's fulfilment performance benchmarking with WW best practices.

  • Drive the launch of features, products, and projects bringing faster and more convenient delivery options to our customers.

  • “Dotted line” management of Ops partners to ensure operational excellence.

  • The successful candidate will be expected to own and deliver our goals in partnership with business, software and operational teams. You will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. You must have a passion for breaking down complex problems, understanding customer and Selling Partner needs and delivering holistic solutions through continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

  • Several years of product management or similar experience preferably in mobile or related areas

  • Demonstrated business judgment as well as ability to think creatively, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize

  • An exceptionally well-organized approach to your work. An ability to understand what's important, what's urgent, where dependencies exist, and how to tangibly move projects forward in a large organization

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, a bias for action and a proven ability to influence others in and across teams and organizations

  • A proven track record of delivering initiatives from conception through completion on time, within budget and on or beyond scope

  • Experience working with engineering teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities in an ever changing environment

  • Proven track record of delivering results in large, cross-functional initiatives

  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills, including SQL; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success

  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an extreme attention to detail

  • Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units

  • Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly products and customer-facing features, in particular for the mobile context

  • Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members

  • Strong bias for action; ability to create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication and persuasion skills

  • Experience operating in a global environment
