Amazon Senior Channel Marketing Manager, Amazon Devices in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Do you want to work in one of the fastest growing and most innovative businesses at Amazon? Amazon Devices is seeking a hands-on and customer-obsessed seasoned marketing professional responsible for the experience for all Amazon Devices in Europe with our retail partners across France, Italy, Spain (FRITES). You will be working closely with external retail partners to build, launch and analyze marketing initiatives that promote our product lineup across Echo, FireTV, Kindle, Smarthome and Accessories.

The Head of Channel Marketing leads a team of Channel Marketers across FR, IT, ES to drive new customer acquisition, new product launches and customer engagement for Amazon Devices. They will engage retail partners operating across consumer electronics, grocery, telecoms and B2B environments, as well as work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders (Product Line teams, finance, Sales Ops, GTM, account, CX and Field Teams).

We are open to the candidate being based in one of the following office locations:

LUX, LON, MUC, PAR, MIL, MAD

Language requirements: Fluent English and one additional language (French, Spanish or Italian).

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead marketing strategy, plans, investments, market/channel/consumer insights and performance for their locales and across the devices portfolio.

  • Develop and lead a team of Channel Marketing Managers across FR, IT, ES.

  • Plan, coordinate and execute innovative campaign, marketing and merchandising initiatives to bring new consumers into devices, or expand current owner’s portfolio.

  • Ensure joined up thinking and strategy of ‘one plan’ across FR, IT, ES, consistent with overall offline devices goals, and managing the detail with the team to deliver upon it.

  • Ensure an engaging and consistent CX across retail stores and retailer.com, taking into account local differences and nuances.

  • Develop and execute Joint Business Plan marketing initiatives, resulting in unit growth and increased ROI.

  • Develop end-to-end launch plans for new products into the FR, IT, ES retail marketplace across all existing and new Amazon device product categories.

  • Partner with our Account Management teams to develop relationships with Retailer Marketing Teams, in order to increase strategic alignment and accessibility to category growth opportunities.

  • Plan and manage marketing spend (OPEX, Selling Expenses) and variable MDF (Marketing Development Fund), delivering key placements that contribute to improve effectiveness and efficiency of activities and spend via your team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have:

  • Language skills: Fluent English and one additional fluent language (French, Spanish or Italian).

  • Excellent understanding of consumer product marketing strategies especially in the offline retail and high-technology space.

  • High attention to detail including precise and effective communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Track record of success in multi-party marketing partnerships and experience working with consumer electronics retailers.

  • Professional experience in consumer marketing such as channel marketing, retail marketing, product marketing, merchandising, or advertising.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing related field OR equivalent work experience.

  • Demonstrated success in data intensive quantitative analysis and recommendations; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up program recommendations and results.
