Amazon Outbound Supply Chain Manager, Continental Europe Supply Chain Daily Execution in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

The Continental Europe (CEU) Sales and Operations (S&OP) Execution team is looking for a motivated, experienced and talented Supply Chain Manager (f/m) to lead the Outbound Daily Execution Team (OBET).
Amazon Supply Chain and Fulfillment Center network rely on sophisticated systems and complex algorithms that rule the behavior of our logistics flows for Outbound and Inbound. The S&OP execution team has the duty to maximize the customer experience and optimize cost when these volumes are hitting the ground in the short term and when the unexpected happens.
The team is composed by front-line operators on the ground which are also in charge of translating the network needs into technical requirements and drive long-term process improvements.
The team manager (this position) will be in charge of (i) managing the solve of increasingly complex Supply Chain problems faced by the region, interfacing with CEU Operations and Transportation, (ii) driving process improvements on daily operations processes (accuracy, explainability, standardization, optimization) while (iii) building a strong OB Execution team, including hiring and developing team members.
The successful candidates should communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery, be able to prioritize, and have strong analysis skills to analyze root causes and to implement long-term solutions.
This position will require the capability to coordinate several stakeholders (fulfillment centers, Inbound and Outbound Transportation, other EU Supply Chain teams) as well as to speak with the technology team responsible for our systems.
The successful candidate should have advanced knowledge and experience on demand/supply planning, logistics or operations.
This position is also responsible for managing the team resource as well as development and hiring of the team members.
Key job responsibilities
Own daily volume forecasting of Outbound flows for the next 16 weeks at fulfillment center level
Monitor intra-week volume accuracy and update forward looking forecast if needed
Own daily backlog and understand daily backlog variations (Volume/Capacity driven) in collaboration with Labor and Operations teams
Make decisions on volume assignments to mitigate any risks in the interest of the network considering Customer experience, Cost (Placement, Labor, Distance), Backlog and Fullness
Lead twice-a-week Supply Chain Gemba with multiple stakeholders to review the health of the network
Prepare and manage events (Prime Day, Black Friday…) with our stakeholders
Manage Network/FC disruptions alongside with Business Continuity Management (strike, shutdown, weather…)
Highlight any potential risk with our stakeholders (Consumer, ATS, GTS)
Manage continuous process improvements

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Experience in supply chain
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
• Experience delivering cross functional projects
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level
• Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level,
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in team management
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
