The Amazon Marketplace is a critical part of the Amazon ecosystem which offers millions of sellers the opportunity to build and grow their business using Amazon’s reach and expertise. Sellers are our customers and we help them to sell their products to hundreds of millions of customers world-wide. We are looking for a talented marketer to join our diverse EU Seller Marketing team in Europe and deliver best in class website experience and digital engagement for Selling Partners.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop unique content in different formats (written, video, interactive), build strategies for scaling on-site engagement and conversion across 8+ owned sites and multiple other landing pages (on desktop and mobile). You will A/B test content and SX improvements to grow meaningful interactions with potential Selling Partners, generate insights to raise the bar on conversion and partner with internal teams to build high quality web experience in multiple languages. You will have ownership of the web analytics, content and media through which we engage with our target audience and you will be responsible for localizing your work to each market and channel. You will work to identify opportunities to automate in order to scale the marketing workflows and to free-up time for high judgment, high value activities. You will work with multiple stakeholders to invent, test and roll-out new ideas touching multiple parts of the seller experience. You will have strong communication skills to lead executive interactions and to influence a broad set of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We are looking for someone to develop a healthy obsession with extracting patterns from ambiguous and voluminous amounts of data to provide recommendations and the implementation of interesting communication campaigns. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with rolling up the sleeves to deal with ambiguity, show strong attention to detail, display high-calibre analytical ability and will be at ease working in a fast-paced environment. You must also enjoy being a creative contributor and thrive working in a start-up like environment.

The position is based in Luxembourg, covering the Europe region.

About the team

The EU Selling Partner Marketing team drives new to Amazon Seller acquisition and life-cycle communication at scale. We generate demand at very top of the funnel and directly engage with new and existing Sellers as they sign-up, setup their accounts, list their products and start selling (see sell.amazon.co.uk).

Basic Qualifications

  • University degree in business, marketing or similar related field.

  • Numerous years of digital marketing experience, strong intuition for good customer experience and messaging.

  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated ability to leverage complex data, including customer research and customer feedback, to develop marketing and conversion strategies.

  • Experience with developing, executing, and analyzing creative A/B test plans for websites.

  • Experience with content development, creative design and features to increase conversion rates.

  • Process-oriented mindset with experience working with and managing external agencies/resources.

  • Comfortable with 'hands-on' management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, contending priorities simultaneously.

  • Experience with basic HTML, website management and content management systems (CMS).

  • Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics etc. to understand visitor behavior in order to provide recommendations for decision making and future plans.

  • Strong communication skills, high standard of verbal and written proficiency (English) with the ability to write creative copy.

  • MS Office: Word & Excel proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Further Qualifications would be a plus...

  • Experience with E-Commerce

  • MBA from a top tier school

  • Fluency in additional languages such as: German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish or Polish.

  • Experience using SQL to pull data and metrics to deliver reports
