Amazon Logistics Program Manager, Devices Global Logistics in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Key job responsibilities

  • Define and lead strategic projects and initiatives that drive step-changes and performance improvements in supply chain operations

  • Perform complex data analysis and modelling to drive key strategic decisions

  • Manage a complex network of stakeholders and business areas to align on priorities and feature sets

  • Proactively develop risk mitigation strategies and technical specifications

  • Contribute to operational planning, lead business reviews, and serve as the primary point of contact for internal projects and reporting to drive forward-looking initiatives

  • Drive the launch and implementation of new operational models, liaising cross-functionally

  • Manage tactical issues and critical escalations in the logistics network, leveraging functional expertise

  • Communicate insights and recommendations through well-reasoned, data-driven documents

  • Coordinate with data providers and technology teams to ensure data accuracy and availability

  • Liaise with Forwarders to secure capacity and ensure on-time delivery of inbound shipments

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or in related field.

  • Experience in supply chain and international transportation (ocean, air, rail, trucking).

  • Experience in program/project management experience leading medium to large programs.

  • Proven track record of innovative problem solving, finding/designing new solutions and delivering results.

  • Ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences.

  • Experience performing and sharing data analysis on large data sets using SQL, Excel, and dashboard/visualization tools (Quicksight, Tableau).

  • Proven track record of data-driven decision-making, and driving process excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, VBA) & statistical software packages.

  • Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions.

  • Project management certification and experience managing project portfolios or PMOs.

  • Exposure to Six-Sigma Black Belt concepts.

  • Experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics is a strong plus.
