Amazon Sr. Program Manager, Payment Operations - International Expansion in London, United Kingdom

The Payment Operations team is the liaison between the front line customer service teams and our technical teams for payment transaction issues.

The Sr. Payments Program Manager is responsible for supporting the payment operations driving operational excellence in our payment methods. This role, based in London, will manage the onboarding of new International Partners and payment methods to drive excellence and a world class customer experience for our mutual customers. This role will also partner with internal customers to identify points of friction, build a business case, set requirements and advocate for customer experience improvement projects. This role is required to serve as a hands-on analyst, resolving escalations, gathering data and driving projects to completion.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter that can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, who can quickly absorb the nuances of Amazon's varied payment offerings as well as the behavior of Amazon's internal systems.

The successful candidate is analytical in their decision making, with the demonstrated ability to drive issues to completion.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience in program or project management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Experience leading process improvements
