Amazon Shipping is looking to hire an experienced leader to join the Strategy & Integration team in the the EU Customer Expansions space.

This position is based out of our London Corporate Office, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon’s current flexible work guidance. Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs for flexible arrangements.

Key job responsibilities

  • Create innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in your organisation Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations, driving improvements across a range of teams and organisations

  • Work alongside senior leadership to establish and prioritise improvement programmes, seeing them through from start to finish

  • Enhance operational performance on every programme in partnership with your stakeholders

A day in the life

As a Senior Programme Manager, you’ll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programmes. You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan.

Senior Programme Managers have significant responsibilities, and you’ll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.

About the team

Amazon Shipping offers Amazon’s delivery capabilities as a product and service. Amazon Shipping’s first customers are sellers in the EU, offering to ship their domestic volume using our delivery network.

Basic Qualifications

  • A degree

  • Relevant experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
