The vision of Shopping Premium Ads is to empower Brands to build deeper connections with consumers during pivotal retail moments WW - High Velocity Events and regional Seasonal Retail Events (SRE) and across premium placements across Stores WW. To achieve this, we drive ad tech & CX innovation tied to our deep understanding of how advertising can play an accretive role to the shopper journey during tentpole events and on evergreen premium slots. We obsess over our shoppers by enabling advertisers to deliver the best offers and content across ad products and properties - thereby maximizing ad revenue across all demand and ad supply.

Our team is looking for a Manager of a Tech Business Development team to help us manage the growth of Shopping Premium ads internationally. This individual will oversee international regions across Europe, Middle East, APAC, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada to grow and launch new launch new features and products and act as the general manager for those regions post launch.

The person will be responsible for defining Business Development strategy that complements product strategy – including collaborating with Stores Publishers to advocate for the Advertiser, building go-to-market (GTM) strategies, drive revenue, establish partnerships, and enable the development of all ad products and services on Stores.

They will work closely with Product teams across Amazon ads, and US Business teams - be the single threaded growth leader for scaling existing/developing new channels; driving strategic business planning for all ad products including influencing of sales and strategic account planning; supplying business inputs into general marketing to achieve objectives and deliver against business strategy; and defining the mix of products/packages to offer to market.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manages a team of program and business developers internationally.

  • Design business plans focused on expanding Shopping Event and Evergreen ads internationally working with various cross-functional teams - Product across Ads, Stores Publisher teams, Finance, Legal, Marketing.

  • Impacts Stores Events and Premium Evergreen ad team goals or initiatives across multiple customers, verticals, products, or geographies and drive towards goal attainment and managing inputs/outputs.

  • Influences and advocates business opportunities with senior leaders at Director/VP level, across Stores Publisher teams, and Ad Sales.

  • Articulates strategic documents such as business requirements, GTM, business review documents, OP1 plans.

  • Delivers BD goals by working with Publishers, Sales, Marketing, Product, Program and Engineering.

Basic Qualifications

  • Significan Ad Tech Experience

  • Proven people management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in a professional field or military

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing a P&L or leading business development

  • Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building relationships and driving growth with large accounts/advertisers

  • Experience or understanding of Advertisement landscape across Europe, APAC, Middle East, South America.
