We're looking for an experienced Sports Rights Executive to join our growing EU live sports team. You will be supporting the Head of Sports Rights and Business Affairs and partner with our legal team in negotiating and managing sports rights for Prime Video across EU. This role will work closely with our federation and commercial partners throughout the lifecyle of any agreement.

Key job responsibilities

• Act as an internal champion and point of contact for live sports rights agreements, working closely with adjacent teams including Marketing, Legal, Production and Advertising

• Support Amazon's relationship with rights holders and commercial partners

• Manage and grow adjacent commercialisation of live sports rights

• Take ownership of specific live sports rights negotiations

• Manage contractual workflow and pipeline with legal teams.

• Input on Amazons Live sport strategy and help grow the live sports portfolio

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with Excel

  • Experience in an account management, licensing or business development role

  • Experience negotiating complex agreements with a firm understanding of legal terminology and reasoning

  • Experience in sports broadcast deal making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fully qualified Lawyer with prerequisite legal qualifications

  • Experience within the sports industry from either a broadcaster, federation or agency

  • Technology affinity with a natural interest in internet services and applications and enthusiasm for technical innovation

  • Practical business judgement
