Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for a dynamic, results-oriented candidate to join as the AWS Asia-Pacific Japan (APJ) Partner Lead for our Digital customer sales motion. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an incredibly fast-growing business. As the AWS APJ Digital Partner Lead, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mindshare with partners across the region for acquiring and serving customers on the AWS cloud journey through digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vision and Strategy:
  • Shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and drive adoption of AWS cloud services across APJ through digital channels led by the AWS Partner Network.

  • Lead the vision of fast-tracking innovation for APJ Digital customers, making AWS the easiest and fastest cloud to deploy through digitised support with the AWS Partner Network.

  • Collaborate with Global and APJ Partner, Sales, Marketing, Technical organizations to define, build, and execute the AWS APJ Digital Partner business.

  1. Partner Engagement:
  • Interact with leading partner organizations, including technology partners, consulting partners, and distributors, to serve APJ Digital customers on their cloud journey with AWS.

  • Drive engagement and interaction with AWS and partner executives, building compelling solutions to enable Digital customer and partner success.

  1. Revenue Growth and Customer Adoption:
  • Ensure the successful implementation of APJ Digital Partner initiatives, delivering output goals through strategic and innovative partner programs and mechanisms.

  • Focus on building sustainable long-term AWS Digital partnerships that drive top-line revenue growth and customer adoption through the AWS Partner Network.

  1. Partner Evangelism:
  • Evangelize the digital opportunity of AWS partners, encouraging investment in complementing the AWS Digital sales motion.

  • Ensure successful and profitable initiatives for our partners.

  • Champion partner success stories, capturing partner insights, and enabling our partners to acquire new customers at scale.

  1. Feedback and Improvement:
  • Own the feedback loop from partner signals, running experiments and providing insights to marketing campaigns and cross functional teams.

  • Quickly identify large partner-led customer deals and provide coaching to our partners.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above

  • Overall experience of 3-5 years in business analytics / business intelligence / sales strategy / financial planning / business consulting or strategy, in cloud technology context, or a mix of such experience

    • Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills who leverages data to drive decision making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Business background for engaging with AWS and partner executives is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, partner development, sales or alliances management
