Amazon Africa, Middle East & Türkiye (AMET) Supply Chain team is seeking a highly motivated individual to identify and develop game-changing solutions for the profile of Program Manager for its Transportation Planning Team. This role is a part of the centralized supply chain planning function at Amazon AMET. Key job responsibilities

As a Program manager, you will:

  • Define, design and manage supply chain planning and forecasting function for Transportation network in Türkiye.

  • Create roadmaps for project implementation and brief various teams on requirements.

  • Set measurable milestones for projects as well as continuous goal setting for ongoing programs.

  • Collect and analyze data to drive project decisions and provide business insights.

  • Make optimal trade-offs between schedule, resources and cost, and apply advanced technical and business knowledge to address major risks, challenges, and obstacles.

  • Work with key stakeholders across various functions to define, track progress and sustain high performance bar on business critical metrics.

  • Launch and adapt as per Amazon’s requirements while being responsible for all customer satisfaction, performance, quality, accounting and financial related metrics.

This role calls for an individual who can own all aspects of how network projects impact customer experience, shipper experience and operator experience; manage performance and measure, determine, then drive, any initiatives necessary to improve it. This position offers a broad exposure to various business, financial, and operations teams within Amazon.

The successful candidate will be a person who enjoys and excels at dealing with ambiguity and design and define programmatic solutions with little information. He / She needs to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to create and sustain urgency, and a proven ability to lead large cross-functional projects including communication across all levels and teams in the organization: senior leaders, finance and operations.

A day in the life

Every day is different as a Programme Manager. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively on projects, which may be at different stages of the project lifecycle, from development to delivery. You might spend your morning gathering data and feedback to assess a programme pilot, then spend your afternoon discussing a resourcing plan for another project. You will collaborate with other teams, track project progress, and share updates with key stakeholders.

Amazon is a data-driven business, so no matter which project you are implementing, part of your role will involve gathering insights to make decisions. You’ll trial different ideas, analyse data to identify potential challenges, and present your findings to senior teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • A degree

  • Relevant experience working in a programme management role with multiple stakeholders

  • Relevant experience in analysing quantitative data effectively to drive decisions

  • Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional environment
