Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities Include Works across various AMPS team(s) at country, regional and/or cross-regional level to drive improvements in existing solutions and enable to implement solutions for customer, cost savings in process workflow, systems configuration and performance metrics.

Leads projects and opportunities across the Operations that are business critical for MENA AMPS.

As a Business Analyst (Automation) you will work with product, technology and operations teams to drive automation through deterministic rules set up / Machine learning algorithms leading to processing of volume at scale.

You will also be responsible for identifying and driving new opportunities based on customer and business data and measuring the performance of the same

About the team

MENA AMPS (Amazon Marketplace Professional Services or ASP360) supports Selling Partners (SPs) with paid account management services and enhances both CX and SPX via a suite of unified offerings. We aim to be the preferred choice for SPs during their Amazon journey to expand and optimize their businesses.

Basic Qualifications

  • • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or similar) • 3+ years working experience writing complex SQL queries to perform data analysis • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analyst, or related quantitative functions • 5+ Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions • 2+ Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python and Excel VBA) and advanced SQL skills. • Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries to work with complex/large datasets • Proficient in visualizing data through tools like QuickSight, Tableau or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • • Master's or higher degree in an analytical area such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering • E-Commerce, Retail experience preferred • Experience working closely with product and tech teams developing large scale data products • Demonstrated analytical skill in prediction, data validation, and optimization problems • Experience in theory and practice of Design of Experiments and statistical analysis of results
