Amazon Sr. Program Manager - GSF in Bengaluru, India

Description

The individual would be heading the GSF program for its respective business miles such as UFF-FC and LM,1P frugal, 3P SSD, 3P Hyper stores and RDFC sites (A.in+3P).

Key job responsibilities

 Identify, develop and implement loss prevention program elements required to meet the operational excellence cutting across GSF-UFF- FC and LM, 3P SSD, 1P frugal, RDFC (A.in+3P) and 3P Hyper stores business verticals.

 Derive logic's through the data streams understand the gap areas through site visits and identify the various loss metrics for different topologies within GSF UFF-FC and LM, 3P-SSD, RDFC & 3P Hyper stores.

 Collaborate with UFF FC and LM-Ops, ACES, CRM and program leadership to understand the shipment flow process, gap areas in processes within the facility (FC and LM), till the last step of delivery and OOR challenges.

 Obtain in-depth knowledge on UFF-FC and LM tools, applied scans and allied processes.

 Understand the process flow between UFF-LM, XPT nodes and MDR returns. Work towards the identified gaps. through on-ground connect and tech end with relevant UFF FC and LM-Ops and OI/ACES teams to bridge the virtual and physical gaps.

 Identify the loss metrics and publish them as part of WBR connect with UFF-FC and LM, 3P SSD and 3P Hyperstore teams and track losses on a WoW basis.

 Create internal mechanisms for visibility and actionable within the INSLP GSF-UFF-FC and LM, 3P SSD, RDFC and 3P Hyper store teams in the form of Loss reports, Concession investigation and reports, TT mechanisms, Alerts and dashboards to have necessary traction towards the loss buckets and real time visibility.

 Coordinate efforts with INSLP product/analytics team to outline products specific to GSF and create analytics modules around the current outline and add process enhancement and visibility for Ops & INSLP RT’s.

 Policy formulation and adoption of process path guardrails by injection of different consequence management charters within A.in sites to ensure any deviations to processes are addressed under the framework of regulations.

 Investigations- Keep a track of previous M. O’s and the emerging online and offline trends. Work in close quarters with investigations team and define mitigation measures to control/curb them.

 3P hyper store network: Carryout on ground and data specific analysis of operational methods. Identify the gap areas to create the process bridges. Identify the losses metrics and quantify them with a separate loss tracking & mitigation mechanism. Drive identified loss buckets through WBR/MBR along with 3P Ops, ACES and SLP teams.

 Create standardization and excellence metrics across the 3P in line with GSF network. Formation of central information repository for easy process information access and injection of timely change management activities and their defined rollout plans, while ensuring scheduled interactive sessions with SLP teams and query based interactive office sessions for warranted smooth rollout.

 Collaborate with GSF mile wise Ops, OI, ACES and Program leadership to initiate and define the WBR connect and track losses on a WoW basis for different topologies under UFF FC and LM,3P SSD, RDFC and 3P hyper stores.

 Understand the loss parameters effecting the loss buckets/metrics under the 3P topologies and business miles, and probe to identify new loss trackers/reports from Ops and SLP perspective, which could be further incorporated to strengthen the losses tracking and overall traction with the current WBR.

 Preparation and drive the INSLP Losses MBR, QBR and OP documents encompassing all verticals of GSF- UFF (T14 and T25+), 3P Hyper stores and RDFC sites.

 Work with Ops tech, cost of business waste, process excellence and program teams to analyze current data trends, defect ratio, enhancement to current process mechanisms and bridge the gap with incorporation of new mechanisms. Propose and inject INSLP product and analytics capability in bridging the gap.

 Develop and deploy cost-effective measures encompassing FCF (free cash flow) initiatives pertinent to different business miles of GSF, Frugal security systems and solutions to mitigate risks at UFF-FC and LM, 1P Frugal and 3P/RDFC miles at network level. Identify new projects and initiate pilots, learning's and implementation for the overall network.

Closely collaborate with launch, Projects and OPs teams for new site launch calls, on site visits and bridge the administrative gaps between INSLP Regional team and the respective launch stakeholder for ensuring ease of execution.

Carry out periodic Risk assessment for individual business mile of GSF and work closely with INSLP CRR team to formulate mitigation measures and ensure proactive implementation.

 RDFC Hub (A.in, 3P and LPC)- Collaborate with Ops stakeholders and INSLP regional teams. Understand the processes, identify the problem areas, process gaps & subsequently workout the bridging mechanisms and audits.

 Innovation and continuous process improvement is a key area of focus as a PM to simplify the problem statement with frugal yet effective ideation, assertion, persuasion and deliverance of the solution.

 Conduct regular business connects through 1:1’s and team connect with mile wise Ops stakeholders. Share SLP updates and seek support to mitigate any blockers. Understand business expectations and derive solution-based strategies to provide swift and efficient SLP program solutions.

 Internal stakeholder management with INSLP PM’s, to understand their program initiatives and ensure the implementation of their initiatives, applicable within the relevant GSF miles to add further value.

Publish periodic report and newsletters to rightly project the achievements of INSLP, lessons learnt and way forward.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
