Amazon Program Manager - Fleet Payments, Last Mile Payments in Bellevue, Washington

Description

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. We are constantly looking to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered where and when they need them, as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. To meet this goal, Amazon is investing heavily to innovate and provide best in class services in the Last Mile delivery space. The Last Mile Payments team is building the next generation of payments platform to ensure accurate and on time payments for all our delivery service partners across the Amazon ecosystem. The technology involved encompasses the full stack of software development. This includes customer facing applications for viewing and approving invoices, mobile features for viewing block level earnings, and internal app development to enable Operation partners to work efficiently for viewing and approving work, rates, and payments. This complex system consists of tens of services and dependencies across multiple orgs, and serves 20+ countries (and growing) each with their own unique invoicing, tax, and accounting requirements for localized compliance.

We are looking for an analytical, customer-focused, and technically-minded Program Manager who can support Fleet initiatives by implementing Fleet payment process automation to pay DSPs, 3PL Fleet Management companies, or service vendors, improve controllership, ensure on-time payment, and eliminate administrative work for our internal/external partners. This candidate will be solely responsible for enabling payment processes for Fleet initiatives within the Last Mile space.

This person will work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The program manager will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

It’s no secret that Amazon relies on its technology to deliver millions of packages every day to its customers – on time, with low cost. Our Last Mile technology division builds software solutions that work across our vendors, delivery stations and carriers to optimize both time & cost of getting packages into the hands of our customers. This remains a fast-growing business, and our technical journey has only started. With rapid expansion into new geographies, unique delivery models for products ranging from Fresh groceries to big-screen TV’s, and growing number of shipments worldwide, we will need innovative solutions to scale our software to meet these opportunities.

Come join the team, have fun, work hard, and help us make history!
