Within Amazon Flex we are rapidly growing as we stand up new stations and programs to facilitate rapid growth for Amazon. As the Launch Manager for Flex Launch Integration, you manage the plan and execute ahead of sites launching in a dedicated business. To achieve your goals, you will work with functions that cut across the organization; including planning, capacity, marketing, and business partners. You will identify defects or opportunities for improvement in our processes, and drive new processes and automation to eliminate the defects and more effectively communicate risks and opportunities in the launch space.

Key job responsibilities

Some of the key job functions of the Launch Manager are:

  • Inform strategy for station and program launches, specifically for new pilot initiatives

  • Works closely with Worldwide Flex and other WW partners to initiate global launch initiatives

  • People manager responsibilities

  • Drive solutions for automation initiatives and technical limitations

  • Work closely with pricing, marketing, capacity management, planning, swim lane/competency owners, business partners, and configuration teams on all new site/program launches

  • Support new station and program launches including working with other programs and product management team leaders that wish to leverage Flex as a last mile solution

  • Align leadership on inputs, outputs, and priorities

  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders as to the status of a launch

  • Facilitate continuous improvement for pre-launch processes

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 5+ years of team management experience

  • 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
