AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Amazon Web Services came to China in 2013, and has been relentlessly investing and expanding our infrastructure and business since then. Amazon Web Services launched its China (Beijing) Region (operated by Sinnet) in September 2016 and its China (Ningxia) Region (operated by NWCD) in December 2017. In 2019, Amazon Web Services added a new region in Hong Kong, making China the only country with three Amazon Web Services regions aside from the U.S. In 2022, Amazon Web Services launched Local Zone in Taipei. Amazon Web Services is looking for a highly motivated Solutions Architect to help accelerate customer adoption. As a Solutions Architect in the AWS General Business group you will work directly with mid-market customers. We are looking for individuals who are motivated by the opportunity to work backwards from these customers' needs and help them gain competitive edge using AWS. As an experienced technologist and key member of the account team you will help influence customers' architectural choices across broad use cases involving compute, storage, database, networking, security, as well as advanced scenarios involving serverless, analytics, and AI/ML.
Key job responsibilities
As a part of the role, you will provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership. You will lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge with the AWS Solutions Architect community. You will also gain the opportunity to learn from, collaborate with, and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry.

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
Knowledge of AWS services
Knowledge of Machine Learning, GenAI, such as pre-train model, fine-tune model, Prompt Engineering, inference, etc.
