Amazon CO-ORS Debt Management Lead , Central Operations - On Road Services in Barcelona, Spain

EU CO On-Road Services is looking for a Lead to support the upcoming expansion of the Debt Management workstream. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make history and become a member of a team whose purpose is to solve complex challenges and have a real impact on Amazon´s cost savings.

The successful candidate will have the drive to meet quality targets and productivity expectations in line with the department goals and is prepared to take responsibility in processes analysis and improvement. Besides, as the ideal candidate, you should be able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders and will require a proactive written and verbal communication with other departments and external vendors.

In addition, a non-exhaustive list of tasks includes:

• Execute claim vetting insisting on the highest standards

• Analyze evidences and anecdotes from different stakeholders and define appropriate next steps

• Be an active player on daily escalations

• Prepare and lead calls with external vendors

• Identify root causes of deviations, via cause-and-effect analysis

• Drive process improvements and develop team members’ ability to keep pace with our rapid growth, while motivating others

About the team

Central Operations (CO) refers to an exciting approach in Amazon Logistics (AMZL) to define a scalable solution to run an increasingly complex and growing last mile delivery network. CO is a key strategic initiative with a vision to transform the way AMZL executes route planning, labor planning and last mile on-road delivery experience.

This is a chance to support a rapidly evolving part of AMZL, taking the lead in developing a best-in-class operation to make effective, real-time decisions to maximize customer and driver experience whilst on the road.

Basic Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of MS - specially Excel

  • B2/C1 English level (both written and oral)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field.

  • Experience leading process improvements through Lean process, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.

  • Thrive in an ambiguous environment, create project plans, and meet deadlines.

  • Enjoys analytical work and using data to provide thought-provoking and workable solutions.

  • Leader of projects and history of helping the team achieve goals.

  • You are a solid team player.

  • You are flexible and remain level-headed at all times, even in the face of unexpected or unplanned situation
