The Amazon Advertising AQUA ( Ads Quality and Automation) is seeking a senior application development engineer with a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating software for our partners. This role requires a proven track record of successfully delivering new features and products, as well as a commitment to teamwork, initiative, and strong communication skills. Creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance products demands exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, and practical experience building scalable software products. This engineer will be driving the development of front-end applications that deliver a best-in-class user experience, partnering with product and design teams to build highly responsive, intuitive, and sleek experiences that will delight customers and set a high bar for all web applications.
In this role, this engineer will work closely with multiple partner teams to deliver products for advertising customers using modern frontend technologies like Next.js and React, while building scalable, maintainable architectures, and writing clean, readable code. The ideal candidate must thrive in an environment where priorities shift rapidly to meet the changing needs of our customers.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of agile software development methodology experience - Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and NodeJS
