Description
Retail Business Services (RBS) Technology team is looking for a product management (tech) leader to lead the development of ML and GenAI-based products in the Stores (shopping) domain. The Bangalore-based role is to drive the product vision, mentor the product team, and create outsized impact on the customers and company (WW, cross-category) through innovation. The RBS product suite aims to process billions of customer signals (customer anecdotes, journey, actions, experience) to detect opportunities to improve the experience, using science, big data and large-scale systems. This includes identifying gaps in product selection, discovery, buying experience, usage experience etc.
Key job responsibilities
Lead product vision, roadmap and lifecycle.
Listen, connect, analyze, and work backwards from customers to build product plans.
Define product positioning and strategy.
Partner with engineering, design and other teams to build high-quality and high-impact products.
Drive product innovation and impact.
Drive WW adoption of the products and prioritize onboardings.
Accelerate impact by keeping up with technology trends, and through build vs. reuse decisions.
Be part of the leadership team and contribute to the organization strategy.
A day in the life
A Principal PM-T will work with multiple stakeholders to constantly move towards (and guide the team towards) achieving the vision and mission of accelerating the Amazon shopping flywheel. The person will independently define the charter, ways of working, and collaborate with and influence others.
About the team
Retail Business Services Technology team's mission is to "accelerate" the Amazon shopping flywheel. The team builds ML and GenAI based products, to discover and address opportunities to improve our product selection, speed of delivery, search & buy experience, and product quality.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
